Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started with Lucid Learning Prep.

What grades do you tutor?

We work with middle school, high school, and college students. Whether focusing on standardized test prep or foundational academic skills, our programs are tailored for every educational stage.

How long is each session?

Standard sessions are 55 minutes, providing focused time for active learning and review. We can also accommodate longer blocks for intensive test prep or complex subject matter as needed.

Do you provide study materials?

Yes, we share all essential digital workbooks, practice tests, and custom worksheets via Google Drive. These resources are designed to reinforce independent study between our live meetings.

How do I track student progress?

After significant milestones, we provide detailed updates based on diagnostic scores and skill mastery checks. Parents receive regular insights into academic growth and specific areas of focus.

Can I reschedule a session?

We ask for at least 24 hours of notice for scheduling changes to respect every student’s roadmap. Lessons cancelled or moved within 24 hours may incur a session fee.

What technology do we need?

A computer with a webcam and stable high-speed internet is required, and a stylus is strongly recommended. We use specialized collaborative whiteboards and tools to ensure the virtual experience is as interactive as an in-person workshop.

How do I get started?

The best first step is a free consultation. We’ll discuss academic history, goals, and needs to determine if we’re the right fit for your student’s long-term success.

Do you offer test prep?

Comprehensive SAT and ACT prep is one of our primary specialties. We focus on strategy, time management, and deep conceptual understanding to help students achieve their score targets.

What is Executive Function coaching?

This coaching helps students develop high-level organizational habits, master time-blocking, and improve task initiation—essential skills for academic independence and career success.

Do you offer group discounts?

While we primarily focus on one-on-one sessions, we occasionally offer small group workshops for specific test dates at a reduced rate per student.

How are sessions billed?

Invoicing is handled digitally at the end of every month for completed sessions. Secure online payment options are available for your convenience.
